Established in 2000, Rodecon is a multidisciplinary Engineering Firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering. Each of our departments is managed by highly qualified and experienced professional engineers, ensuring excellence and technical precision in all our projects. We deliver comprehensive Turnkey (EPC) Project Solutions supported by world-class workshop facilities, which include three bays equipped with 5-ton, 10-ton, and 20-ton overhead cranes, as well as fully equipped machine, electrical, and boiler shops. Our core capabilities include: Mechanical Services: Gearbox repairs, pump and valve maintenance, electrical motor rewinding, and fabrication of pressure tanks, conveyor structures, pulleys, rollers, shafts, bushes, chutes, and pipework. Civil & Structural Services: Road construction, dam construction, structural engineering, and concrete works. Rodecon is accredited by MerSETA and the Ministry of Higher Education as a technical training institution, offering artisan training in various trades including welding, electrical, boiler making, fitting and turning, and bricklaying. We are also an accredited distributor of petroleum-based industrial lubricants across Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and KwaZulu-Natal, with active distribution networks extending to Zimbabwe and Zambia. Our expansion plans include adding automotive lubricants to our distribution portfolio. In addition, we provide specialized fabrication services to the mining sector. Our work includes welding vibrators and manufacturing transformer skids for Anglo Platinum Mokopane, as well as producing pipes, walking platforms, and pressure vessels for Harmony Gold—supported by our ISO 3834 certification. Our proven expertise frequently leads to us being headhunted for complex engineering projects. Furthermore, Rodecon is licensed by the Department of Labour for asbestos handling and undertakes asbestos-related projects in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
